Required for 7th Grade: Backpack (no wheels-must be able to fit in locker) 3 ring binder (At least 2 inch) Pocket separators with holes-at least 6 Notebook paper (unlimited supply for ALL subjects) Graph paper (1/4 inch rule) 1 college rule single subject spiral notebook (for science labs) 1 single subject spiral notebook (for health) Composition book- for Language arts Pocket Folders with prongs- 7, each one a different color for Language Arts #2 Pencils – preferably NOT mechanical (an unlimited supply) Blue-black pens Red/green pens for corrections Highlighters in yellow Glue sticks Colored pencils (8 pack is all that is necessary) A GOOD pocket pencil sharpener Markers (8 pack is all that is necessary) Zippered pencil case or bag (preferably one that has holes to go in binder) Large eraser or cap erasers Ruler- both inches AND centimeters -clear is better (preferably with holes for binder) Compass (to use at home) Protractor (to use at home) Index cards (keep at home till required) 3 sided project board for science project (keep at home till required) If student has Advanced or IE math: Extra 1 inch 3 ring binder Extra ¼ inch graph paper If student has Spanish: Extra 1 inch binder If student has Family/Consumer Science Extra 1 pocket folder with prongs To be bought later: 1/2 yard of fabric (do not buy anything stretchy) 3 1/2 yards of 3/8" cording (nylon, not cotton) Thread Optional but handy: Individual Hand sanitizer Shelf for locker / Magnetized pencil holder for locker Post-It style sticky notes or tabs for marking place Construction paper for projects (keep at home) Scissors for projects (keep at home) Stapler for projects (keep at home) Extra ruler for projects (keep at home) Transparent tape and glue for projects Gym bag- small string bag Small recorder (for Spanish only)
