Inspiration

From time to time, I plan to update this page to give us all a little inspiration as we work with these children every day. Whether you are a teacher, parent, grandparent...we all impact and hopefully inspire our children to be their best and learn all they can. Take a minute to read this page and reflect on your relationship with the children in your life. Aren't you glad you have them and they have you?!

When You Thought I Wasn't Looking

When you thought I wasn't looking,
I saw you hang my first painting
On the refrigerator ...
And I wanted to paint another.

When you thought I wasn't looking,
I saw you feed a stray cat ...
And I thought it was good
To be kind to animals.

When you thought I wasn't looking,
I saw you bake a birthday cake just for me ...
And I knew that little things
Were special things.

When you thought I wasn't looking,
I heard you say a prayer ...
And I believed there was a God
That I could talk to.

When you thought I wasn't looking,
I felt you kiss me good-night ...
And I felt loved.

When you thought I wasn't looking,
I saw tears come from your eyes ...
And I learned that sometimes things hurt
But it's all right to cry.

When you thought I wasn't looking,
I saw you smile ...
And it made me want to look
That pretty too.

When you thought I wasn't looking,
I saw that you cared ...
And I wanted to be everything I could be.

When you thought I wasn't looking,
I looked ...
And wanted to say "Thanks"
For all the things I saw
When you thought I wasn't looking,
