About The Teacher

    I am very excited to be in Columbus, GA and to be teaching at Dimon 
Magnet Academy. I graduated from the University of North Florida with a 
degree in Elementary Education. This is my second year with Muscogee 
County and we're off to a great start! This is my fifth year teaching 
elementary school and I enjoy my profession very much. I come to Columbus 
with my husband who has been stationed at Fort Benning, and my two young 
children. I have enjoyed relocating to Columbus and believe that it is a 
great city to live and work in. I have enjoyed meeting all of you and look 
forward to seeing everyone I haven't yet had the pleasure of meeting. Thank 
you for a great start to the school year!

In our learning classroom community of learners we beleive showing our 
P.R.I.D.E. each in everyday is an essential part of our learning. By having 
a Positive attitude, Respecting one another, Including everyone, Displaying 
safe behavior, and Expecting success we can grow in our learning, as well as 
our character.
