Introduction

The publisher of the Cherokee Nation Newspaper heard that we were studying 
the Cherokee Indians and has asked for our help. He wants our class to create 
a special section for the next edition. He wants the section to cover seven 
specific topics relating to the Cherokee culture. Ultimately, he 
wants us to remind people who have forgotten about the Cherokee Indians and 
how important they are to our state's history.
