In first grade your child will take AR test weekly on AR books he/she has
read. Your child should take at least one test a week. 80 percent or above
on an AR test is passing.
Here are some tips:
1. Allow your children to read the books to you.
2. Ask your children comprehension questions through the whole book.
3. Ask them to reread it 3 times.
Please be looking for their scores at the end of each week.
My goal is for your child to take at least 2 test a week. More AR test can be
taken. This is accomplished through student desire and motivation!
