Hello everyone! This is my third year teaching at DEMA and living in
Columbus. I have been very impressed with the level of student knowledge and
parent involvement at the school. My expectations have risen, and I'm sure
this year's group will keep that going! The city is equally as impressive...a
great blend of small-town feel and big-city access.
My time outside of the classroom is divided between remodeling an old
Bibb City mill house, strolling or floating down the river, and using the
many outdoor recreational opportunities here. I have one child--my 9 year old
dachsund-lab mix Czar. My love for literature and theatre carry over into my
free time and become major tools in the classroom as well.
All members of our class will work together to advance their own and every
other member's love of learning, knowledge of content and preparation for
life.
