Welcome to my "Kindergarten World". Below are a few things about me. I hope you enjoy!
Personal
Hello! My
name is Rhonda Crane (Formally known as Ms. Dominy) and I am a kindergarten
teacher at Eagle Ridge Elementary School. I knew I wanted to be a teacher
since I was very young. Playing school with baby dolls and wanting to be the
teacher's pet were my prerequisites to education. As a young girl, I would
often be found teaching all of my dolls and stuffed animals how to sit still
and pay attention to the teacher.
I am married
to Christopher Edward Crane, and I have two very active and wonderful boys
named Ethan (7) and Hudson (4). Ethan is a second grader at Eagle Ridge and a
great baseball player! Hudson is in the three/four year-old classroom at
Little Caterpillar Day School and an awesome colorer! They are my pride and
joy in life! Below you will see a small slide show of all the things that mean
the most to me!

Mission Statement
I
believe that all children can learn, if given the right tools. Our classroom
will strive to be a place where all children will have the opportunity to show
their individual strengths and build upon their unique differences. I believe
that education and learning should be fun, exciting, and challenging. If young
children develop a love for learning at an early age, that love will continue
to grow as they do. Through the use of projects, hands-on activities,
technology, and cooperative learning I will do my part to encourage and
motivate each child to achieve at their highest level and develop into
life-long learners. I know that education is a partnership between home,
school, and community. Through working together, we can make Kindergarten an
enjoyable and challenging experience.
