Mrs.Weatherford's Social Studies

Welcome to Mrs. Weatherford's 6th Grade AC Social Studies

Weatherford Weekly Notes: 11/16-11/20

We have begun to conclude our study of types of government in Europe. We have gone through the distributions of power, citizen participation, legislative details of Russia, the UK, and Germany, presidential vs. parliamentary democracy, and the European Union. Our test will be on Tuesday. Along with our unit, we are also almost done with our novel, Animal Farm by George Orwell. Students will be working on their double entry journals and we will be having an Animal Farm discussion/activity day Monday the 16th. The journal will be due Wednesday the 18th and will be a quiz grade. As always, please let me know if you have any questions or concerns; I am here to help!
