Reading Workshop Due Dates - 2nd Quarter:

Please note that I am not giving specific due dates for turning letters in to classmates or myself.  The due dates listed here are the last possible dates that I will accept composition books without penalty. 

10/24, 11/14 & 12/12: Choose either to write to Ms. Thompson or a *new* classmate; this is the LAST day to turn in books for full credit. Only one letter needs to be written to Ms. Thompson (test grade); the other two should be written to classmates (Reading Workshop grade).

Writing Workshop Due Dates:

10/7: All pieces completed (at least 4: 1 poem, 1 memoir - show evidence of progress/revision, 6th graders.  7th graders must complete their memoirs); Writing Goals Conferences

Remember to put your final copy on top for each piece.  Then your rough drafts, starting with the most recent.

10/8: Best Piece due to Ms. Thompson
