The 2007-08 school year marks my 9th year as a lead teacher. I have taught
Kindergarten and all grades from 3rd through 8th. This is my second year
teaching at East Side. I have previously taught at Mt. Bethel Christian
Academy, Sedalia Park Elementary, Murdock Elementary, and Kennesaw
Elementary.
I have a pretty diverse background because I grew up in a military home. In
my life I have lived in seven different states within the U.S. and also
lived in England. From Kindergarten to my senior year in high school I
attended eight different schools.
I have 2 children of my own who also attend East Side. My son Xander is in
Miss Guy's 3rd grade class and my daughter Chloe is in Mrs. Sahadaven's 1st
grade class.
I have a lot of personal hobbies. In general, I really enjoy learning new
things. My background is in art, and I really enjoy incorporating the
creative aspects of it into my daily lessons. I'm also an avid fly-
fisherman and woodworker and have been known to use their examples in
science and math, too.
As your child's teacher, I try to be very accessible . Please feel free to
