My name is Mandi Chambers. I grew up in Mableton, Georgia and graduated from
South Cobb High School in 1997. In the past, I have taught dance and
performed, vocally, in many different locations, including, various
churches, weddings, Disney World, the Big Red Boat and in the Bahamas. I
love to perform! Singing and dancing are my passion...including my wonderful
teaching job. This is my fifth year teachingat East Side. I am so excited about
teaching second grade this year. I just graduated in May 2006 with my Master's degree
from Kennesaw State University. I plan to apply all of the new things that I
learned in my class this year. I love to do outdoor activities and shop, of
course. I love my job. Teaching was my dream, as a child. Now that I am all
grown up, I have made my dream come true. To all who are taking
the time to find out more about me, thank you and I trully appreciate you :)
My goal for my students is to be the best they can be. I don't ask for or
expect all E's from every student, but I do expect E effort. An education is
such a precious gift and should not be taken for granted. My students have a
motto that we focus our class on, "I know I can be what I want to be. If I
work hard at it, I'll be where I want to be!" I want all of my students to
work hard so that they can be what they want to be and end up where they
want
to be!
