| Everyday, read with and/or to your kindergartner. Your child may have a
leveled reader in his/her reading folder. If your child is a fluent
reader, I have recommended that he choose from my class library...a book
appropriate to his independent reading level.
Also, thank you for participating in the fast start reader program...the
children are excited at any mention of the poetry worked on at home with you.
Also, please look at your child's bookbag contents. Remove work to remain
at
home (worksheets, calendar, artwork, etc.) Place notes/money to us in take
home folder to be unpacked at school the next a.m.
