Dear Parents,
On Tues. or Wed. one of the kids found a baggie laying in the floor with a $5.00 bill in it. We held it up and asked, "Did someone drop this?"
No was the response from all. There was no name or any infor. on the baggie...we have just "held" it all week hoping to learn something about it
by now. If you sent this in with your child please let us know...and let us know to what it was to be applied.
A mom sent me an email to ask me if I could delay her volunteer opportunity time this week and of course it was no biggie...I said yes...we'll just
"flip-flop" our day....(we tell our kids that that's what we do on Fun Fridays...flip-flop what we do and when we do it). That got me to thinking...
it might help many of you who have preschoolers/mother's morning out babes...We could just have our volunteer parents come in at 10...and
then if you wanted to, you could stay on for lunch. Mrs. Werner and I could go ahead and have "exploratory centers" 9:30-10 and our parent
volunteer could just "man" a table during our literacy rotation...10-10:45... possibly joining us for lunch at 10:54. Let me or Mrs. Theobald
know if this would not be better for you (time wise). If it works for you we could begin this new time next week with Grandma Bonnie on Mon.
We probably would not want to change to the new time on Wed. for Mrs. Bashizi because that is Early Release Day...and 9:30 would be better on
that day. Even our Fri. person could come at that later time.
Mrs. Sain is in for our 1st parent cooking day...we are making monster toast!
