Meet Mrs. Zollweg

Mrs. Linda Zollweg comes to East Side after teaching Physical Education for 13 years at Murdock Elementary and 2 years at Kincaid where she was teacher of the year in 2004. Mrs. Zollweg graduated with an undergraduate degree in Physical Education and Health from Ohio State University. She later graduated from West Georgia State University with a masters degree in Physical Education.

Mrs. Zollweg is married to Denny Zollweg and together they have four grown children and three grandchildren with the forth due in October.

Mrs. Zollweg is an avid swimmer and runner, in fact she ran the Boston Marathon in 2005! In her spare time she teaches swim lessons and plays with her grandchildren. She likes to quilt, read and spend time with her family and frineds. Now and then you might see her riding her bike to school.

Mrs. Z, as her students might call her, is excited to be at East Side and is anxious to promote healthy lifestyle habits to all students. She loves kids and teaching.
