How many minutes a night should my student be reading?

Each student should be reading at least 15-20 minutes a night.

What math facts should my student be practicing?

All students should be practicing addition, subtraction, multiplication, and 
division facts. Right now students should focus more on multiplication facts.

Does the planner have to be signed every night?

Yes! This is the student's responsiblity to bring it to you and make sure it 
is signed before they come to school.

Can I come and eat lunch with my child?

YES!!!! Students are soooo excited when their parent(s) come and eat with 
them at school.

What is the best way to get in touch with you?

The best way to get in touch with me is by email. You can email me at 
alyssa.guy@cobbk12.org. I will get back to you in 1 day unless there are 
technical difficulties at the school.

What is an appropriate bedtime for a third grader?

An elementary age child should sleep at least 8-10 hours each night. A good 
bedtime would be 8:00pm or 9:00pm. THis will ensure they are well-rested and 
ready to start the new day on a good note.
