Welcome to 3rd grade, I am excited to have each and every one of you in my
classroom this year!
Just to give you an idea of what we are staring out with .....
Language Arts:
Reading: Traditional Literature
Writing: Narrative Writing
Grammar: Basic structure of sentences (Subject and Predicate) as well
as proper structure of a paragraph.
Health:
We will be studying about emotions and communicating and working with
others.
Math:
We will be working on place value, addition with and without regrouping, and
subtraction with and without regrouping.
Science:
Rocks, Minerals, and Fossils
Socail Studies:
The Olympics, Greece, Government, and Economics
