I am from North Carolina and a graduate of Appalachian State University in
Boone, NC. I have taught in Cobb County for 18 years and this is my 5th year
at East Side. I am married and we have three children. My oldest daughter
graduated from the College of Charleston with a B.S. degree in geology and a
Masters from Boston University and lives in Washington,DC. My son graduated
from the University of Georgia with a B.S. degree in geology and from law
school in December 2005 from the University of Denver. He is married and now
lives in Virginia Beach, Virginia and is an environmental lawyer. My
youngest daughter is a graduate of Appalachian State University and is a
firefighter and EMT in Cary, NC. They all got their educational start at
East Side Elementary.
