What is the behavior folder and how does it work?

The behavior folder is my way of informing parents how their child behaves in
class each day. If the child broke a rule more than once they will receive a
straight face and the number (#) corresponding to the rule broken will be
written.
If the child continues the behavior or the behavior is severe enough (such as
hitting, kicking, lying, ect.) the student will receive a sad face.
The child will know the reason why s/he received the face s/he did because I
make sure to discuss all face changes with my students.

Why do you do the reading folder?

Reading folders are to give students exposure to reading. Reading folder
books give students confidence in reading and allows them to recognize site
words we practice in school.
Please follow the directions on reading folders when reading a book. Make
sure your child brings their book everyday. I may not have the chance to read
with every student every day but please read with your child every night at
home.
