Any Volunteers? The Wedding of Q & U is Tuesday, Oct 14th at 8:30 a.m. Every child has a part
in this wedding. I sent home lines with students today (Monday). Please make sure your child
reherses his/her lines throughout the week and weekend. Practice, practice, practice! I need a
few moms to help me decorate for the wedding on Monday, Oct. 13th from 1:10-2:00. I have 3 so
far. If you are interested, please let me know.
Does anyone have any tulle they would like to donate for our wedding? I was thinking of using
it to decorate chairs. We still need a volunteer to
videotape the wedding? Mr. Zhang (Madeline's Dad) has volunteered to making dvd copies of the
wedding for anyone who sends in a blank
dvd. Please send in your RSPV by Friday, October 10th. We have 3 parents coming so far. We
are very excited!
Friendly Reminder- Class dues ($10) need to be sent in to Mrs. Ju (Anna's mom) by Oct. 17th.
Please send $10.00 in an envelope and I will make sure it goes home with Anna. We use this
money for special themed projects/activities, our holday party, food/drinks, field day etc...

We really need erasers for our dry erase boards. I use socks! Please send in any
used but clean socks that you can spare.

I put a Comprehension sheet in your child's Overnight Express folder today. After he/she reads
to you for 20 minutes each evening-pick one of
the comprehension boxes and ask your child the different questions. This is one way to make
sure he/she understands what was read. Keep
this sheet in the red folder for the entire school year.
