Enjoy reading with your child or to your child each day! After reading from
their purple 'Overnight Reading Express' folder, record the title of the book
so I can keep up with where they are. The purple folder should come to
school each day with the students so they may choose a new book to bring home.
We also would like for you to participate in using the red 'Fast Track
Readers' folder with your child. The students will bring this folder to
school every Monday. We will look at their work, make comments, and return
the folder home with a new poem. This red folder will be kept home all week
so that the students can "play" with the poem using rhyming words, learning
rhythm, go on a letter hunt, and more!
