My name is Deborah Stephens. I have been married to my wonderful husband
Robbie for 10 years. We have 2 beautiful children. Our daughter, Madison,
turned 6 in December, 2008 and she will begin first grade at East Side during
the 2009-2010 school year. Our son, Caleb, will be 5 in October and will be
beginning Pre-K this fall.
Another member of our family is our schnauzer, Frasier, who is
actually our first child. Frasier has been with us for 10 years and he is
the king of the house. He is very gentle with our children and he is very
loving. Last year, we adopted a schnauzer puppy. Her name is Lady
Isabella, "Lady" for short. She has been a wonderful addition to our family!
I grew up in Rome, GA. (which is about 1 hour North of Marietta) graduating
from Coosa High School. I graduated from Floyd College with an Associates
degree in Psychology and continued my education at the University of
Georgia. GO DAWGS!!! After my engagement to Robbie, I transfered to
Kennesaw State University to finish up my last year of school and to be
closer to home with my family. I actually did my student teaching at East
Side, graduated from the education program early and supplied for a First
Grade teacher who was going on maternity leave. Now, I have been teaching
Kindergarten for 7 years. I love teaching, children, working with my peers
and the staff at East Side.
