Yeah! We have information for you in regards to our on-line Science textbook. Go to www.thinkcentral.com and put in your student's ID number
for their password. This is the number they use to log on for computer use. For the password type in their birthdate by the year they were born,
2 digit month and 2 digit day they were born. For example, if they were born on January 2, 1999, you would type 19990102. Good luck with this
and have a great weekend.

We wanted to let you know that with Tuesday being an early release day, the students will eat
lunch at 9:00am and be dismissed at 12:10pm.
The rest of this 9 weeks we are continuing our study of narrative reading and writing. In math
we have studied place value, rounding, algebra, and data and are beginning multiplication and
division. It is crucial that your child know their multiplication facts. Please continue to
practice them at home. In science we’ve finished studying water and are know learning about how
weather is predicted and how weather is different from climate. We are going to be making some
weather instruments this week and could use some help with the supplies. We would appreciate it
if you could please send in paint sticks and ping pong balls by Tuesday for our anemometers.
We’ll also be making rain gauges and barometers in class.
This last Friday we ended the week with a health lesson about friends with disabilities and how
we could be role models of compassion. Your children had the most thoughtful comments and ideas.
We were very proud of them and once again were reminded of why we love being their teachers.
Thank you for sending them to us everyday!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Mrs. Durham and Ms. Agnew
We wanted to remind you that we have PE tomorrow, Friday, August, 29. Please wear appropriate

Dear Parents and Students,
We are having a wonderful first day of school. It is so much fun getting to know each other.
One very important piece of information we have
found is that we have several students with severe nut allergies. We need to ask for your
cooperation in order to make sure all our students are
safe here at school. Please do not send any snack that contain peanuts, peanut products, or any
nut. We appreciate your attention to this very
important news.
Thank you,
Ms. Durham and Ms. Agnew
