Spelling Homework for the Week: (please choose 3 activities to do each week
and turn them in by Friday)
1. ABC order - read them to a parent
2. Write each word in a sentence - read them to a parent
3. Write sentences and leave the spelling word out so a friend can fill in
the blanks. (be sure to make a word bank)
4. Create a word search (be sure to make a word bank)
5. decorate your words (write the words using colorful
markers/pencils/crayons - be creative!!!)
6. write each word three times and read them to a parent
7. come up with your own idea of how to practice your words and get it
approved by Mrs. Jones (she is always looking for different ways to
practice spelling!)
Math Homework: practice your mulitplication facts each night (flashcards,
computer game, on paper, verbally...)
Reading Homework: read atleast 20 minutes nightly
