Yes, healthy snacks such as fruit, vegetables, popcorn, granola bars,
pretzels, dry cereal, etc. are recommended.

May we bring a water bottle?
Yes, please make sure it has a tight lid or cap to avoid spills. You might
want to freeze the water (at least partially) so it stays cold all day.

May we bring books from home?
Books from home are fine. Please be sure to have your name inside the front
cover. Several students may be reading the same book.

unpack and complete morning work. The bell rings at 2:20 PM to start
dismissal.

Will we participate in AR this year?
Yes, students should read at least two AR books each month and
take the quiz. We won't start the program for several weeks. You may read
your book during DEAR or any other time including at home. You may read
other books or magazines during DEAR also.

Which classes will be out at recess with our class?
We have recess from 1:10-1:30. Miss Mills, Miss Satterthwait, and Mrs.
Lipscomb's classes will be outside with us.
--------------------------------------
When will the CRCT start each day?
Students must be in the classroom by 8:00 each morning as the testing block
will start soon after that. Students arriving after 8:00 will be held in
the media center until there is a break in our testing schedule.

Will we have Field Day this year?
Yes, Field Day will be on May 13 for third grade. Be sure to wear your
class t-shirt and be ready for fun!
