Teaching is a second career for me and this is my third year teaching at
East Side. In my first career I managed medical practices and also did
consulting work for doctors. As a result of my work experience I try to
always find connections between the children's studies and the work world.
I am an Army Brat and lived in Europe and the Middle East for almost 11
years growing up. I feel I had an incredible childhood traveling the world
and being exposed to so much culture. I have lived in Atlanta for 6 years
now. Previously I lived mostly in Maryland, Ohio and Virginia while in the
United States.
To be responsible, respectful, to spend each day giving their best effort
and to never give up. I expect each student to try, try again, try a
different way, to just keep trying and I will facilitate their efforts to
find a way to master the skills they need to prepare them for fourth grade.
