Lisa Bourque:
I have been teaching pre-k for 20 years. I originally taught in Rhode
Island where I was born and raised. I am married and have two children,
Sydney and Jake. We live in Sharpsburg with our two dogs, a cat, and
assorted wild deer, rabbits and birds.
Latricia Taylor
I have been involved with education professionally for 21 years. I also
worked as a certified nurses aid in a nursing home for a short while before
continuing with my education. I am originally from Texas where our family
still lives. I am married and have three children, two girls and one boy;
JO, James, and Nicky. We have lived in Newnan for 4 years. We have two dogs
and a cat.
We have many goals for the children in our classes. Of primary importance
is helping them to develop the skills necessary for success in school and in
life.
While in pre-k the children will have the opportunity to investigate, plan,
observe, discuss, share, invent, read, build, hypothesize, count,
predict.... The opportunities for learning are only limited by the
children's interest, enthusiasm and initiative.
We hope to support and guide them during the year, and provide them with an
environment which encourages them to grow and learn in all areas of
development.
