special events that will take place this year. Please make sure you check

All Middle School Transitional Issues
Monday, May 5th at 6:30 Dickerson's Parent Night in Theater.
Parent night for Dodgen is also on May 5th
Human Growth and Development
Parent session is May 2nd at 3:00 in the Media Center
Student sessions are May 8th and 9th. Permission slips are due Monday May 5th
Without a permission slip students will not be allowed to participate.
NEWS FLASH......NEW INFORMATION.....PLEASE READ UPDATES!!!!
Please make sure East Side has your student's current information.
***There are new immunization requirements out by the State for new 6th graders.***
1. Have two doses of the Measle vaccine, two doses of Mumps vaccine, and one dose of Rubella
vaccine or laboratory proof of immunity against Measles, Mumps or Rubella.
2. Have two doses of Varicella (Chicken pox) vaccine or documentation of disease or laboratory
proof of immunity. At the time your child entered school only one dose was required.
**Contact your health care provider to receive any needed vaccinations and to obtain the Georgia
Certificate of Immunization (Form 3231).
** Also make sure East Side has Hearing, Vision and Dental records.
**Please make sure that your child's Immunization certificate has not expired, and does not
expire within the next two years.
