Hello, and welcome to
East Side Elementary. I am Pat Mabry, School Secretary. I began my career at
East Side in 1989 as a Kindergarten Paraprofessional. I was a
paraprofessional for three years, then was hired as the school secretary. I
enjoy my job, the day to day operation of the school, working with the
students, parents, administrators, and staff.
I was born in Marietta,
Georgia and attended all Cobb County Schools. My husband and I have been
married for 34 years, and we are the proud parents of a wonderful daughter,
Leann. Leann is a 2005 graduate of Kennesaw State University with a degree in
Communication/Public Relations, she is currently back at KSU working toward a
second degree in Early Childhood Education. In my spare time I enjoy reading,
baking, and spending time with Leann and her dog Charlie.

My name is Yvonne
Jorgensen and I have been the East Side Bookkeeper since 1989. I have been
married for 38 years to Terry and have two children. Stephanie has two
children (Walker and Katie) and her husband, Farrell, is a native Marietta
man; my son JR (for Junior) is going to Kennesaw State University. I have
lived in Marietta most of my life, with the exception of several years
traveling when my husband was in the Army.
Hi, my name is Pennie
Barcelli and I have been at East Side for one year as the SchoolMax Clerk. I
love my job and the interaction I have with students, parents, and staff.
Everyone here is like my second family.
I am the mother of four
children, three girls and one boy. Nina is 20 and a rising junior at UGA.
Tyler is 18 and a rising freshman at UAB Birmingham. Nadia is 15 and a rising
junior in high school. Maya is 14 and a rising freshman in high school. I came
to Georgia in 1992 from Cincinnati, Ohio. I love to cook, garden, and spend
time with my children.
Hello, I am Audrey Nutt,
Attendance Clerk. I have lived in Marietta most of my life and I attended all
Cobb County Schools. I have been married 30 years and have 2 daughters. My
oldest is in her last year at Georgia Tech and my youngest daughter is
starting at Kennesaw State University in the fall. I enjoy gardening and
spending time with my family.
