We are running low on tissues, Clorox wipes, and hand sanitizer. If
possible, please send some of these items in to school. Spring is nearly
upon us and that means allergy
season. Thanks so much for doing this.
From Tina Mansperger, RN at East Side:
To All Parents, Disposal of Medication letters have been sent home with the
students. If your child had any type of medication in the clinic, please
return the letter ASAP. All medication will be disposed of if not picked up
by May 23 at 2 P.M. New Medication Authorizations will need to be filled
out again next year for all medication. If you have any questions please
call the clinic at 770/578-7208. Thank you. email:

Dear Parents,
Please encourage your child to not rush through the CRCT's. Several children have completed them
in record time (20-30 minutes) and claim that they have checked the work as well. This test is not a
race. I keep on reiterating this, but perhaps they need to hear it from their parents as well. The
minimum the tests should take is 45 minutes with a maximum of 70 minutes. Also, thank you so much
for having the children in class early. This way we relax and get ready to test. Please have them get to
bed early and eat a little breakfast as well. Thanks so much for all your assistance. I'm hoping we have
lots of really great scores!
The Vocabulary Parade will be on Thursday, May 8 from 8:15-9:15. The children have chosen a word
that was approved by me. They must now create a costume to wear that represents their word. You
may help them with this, but I'd like them to be involved in some way. Thank you.
I want to wish all my mom's this year a very happy and enjoyable Mother's Day. I hope you like
the gift that your child made for you.
