Week of Sept. 22 through 26.
Mon.-- go over spelling verb test, make corrections. Basic Grammar text and
Basic Vocabulary text exercises and practices this week.
Tues. and Wed.-- same plus more work on using capital letters.
Thurs.-- make collage about self, label w/ descriptive personal words.
Fri.-- Unit tests over week's work; read chapters 1,2 and 3; answer study
questions
Week of Sept. 29-Oct. 3:
Mon.--Continue reading novel ch 4, answer study questions for ch. 4
Tues.--Chapter 5 and questions
Wed.--Chapter 6 and questions
Thurs.--Chapter 7 and questions
Fri.--Chapters 8 and 9 and questions
Week of Oct. 6 to Oct. 10:
Using capital letters correctly in letters and outlines.
Basic Gr. and Voc texts pgs. 21,23,27; wkbk. 14,15,16.
Test simple present and continuous present.
Week of Oct. 13 to 15:
1st 9 weeks ends; classtime reading and discussing articles of personal
interest in USA Today.
No assignment.
Week of Oct. 20 to 24:
No homework assigned due to students losing, misplacing and not doing
homework; students will complete written work in class and read in English
at home; I will begin a listening log for them to complete on a weekly basis.
