What is your e-mail address?
You can reach me at ddaniel@ccboe.net or debbiedaniel1126@comcast.net
How will I prepare for the EOCT (End of Course Test)?
The curriculum that we have prepared for this course closely follows the
content of the EOCT, and I will be teaching you this year from that
curriculum. You can do your part by coming to school regularly, doing your
assignments on time, and following my instructions. The test is an
assessment of what you will learn this year, and it counts 15% of your
semester grade. All students who take 11th grade English must take the
test, as mandated by the Georgia Department of Education.
How will I prepare for the Georgia High School Graduation Tests (GHSGT)?
There are five parts to the GHSGT, and you must pass all five in order to
graduate from high school in Georgia. Therefore, your 11th grade year will
be very important to you in terms of your future success. You will take the
Writing test in October and the other four tests (Math, Language Arts,
Social Studies, and Science) in April. You will prepare for these tests the
same way that you prepare for the EOCT, except that the results of these
tests will not be counted as part of your final average in the course.
