Scroll down to find the date that you need and there will be a description
of what we did in class that day and any assignments due or upcoming
assessments.

Spanish II: January 5, we wrote a personal reflection on what was
accomplished first semester, what we felt confident about
and what we should work harder on. We reviewed briefly the
preterite and imperfect tenses. We wrote a story together
using both tenses. Tomorrow we will do the same thing in
                  pairs.

January 6, pairs wrote a short story together using the
preterite and imperfect tenses. Those will be read to the
class and everyone will help correct the errors.

January 7, we began reading our stories to the class and
other students offered corrections where necessary. We will
finish reading them tomorrow. Tonight you should review the
                  preterite and imperfect tenses.

Spanish III: January 5, we wrote a reflection on what we learned during
the first semester, what we are confident about, and what
we still need to work on. We discussed what characteristics
define an intermediate mid Spanish student and what we need
to do to reach that goal. We spoke in Spanish the rest of
the period about the holiday break.

January 6, we discussed pp. 80-83 in Ch 2. We quickly
reviewed informal affirmative commands. For homework do
exercises 27-30 on pp. 84-86 in the book.

January 7, we discussed pp. 84-86 exercises 27-30. We
practiced with placement prepositions on p. 87. For tonight
do exercises 9-14 on pp. 36-39 in the workbook.

AP Spanish IV: January 5, we defined vocabulary for the week. We discussed
new requirements for reading outside the classroom.

January 6, we took quiz 1 of Deportes. We started a new
chapter in Galería focusing on indigenous people in Latin
                  America.

January 7, we took quiz 2 of Deportes. We discussed pp. 123-
                  130 in Galería.
