Spanish II: December 1, we took a daily quiz over the preterite, the
imperfect, and reflexive verbs. We continued working with
a Mexican legend.
December 2, we took a daily quiz over the same material as
yesterday after discussing errors from yesterday. We then
discussed the answers to the quiz today. We finished reading
the legend and doing the comprehension activities after it.
December 3, we took a daily quiz over the same material as
Tues and Weds. We discussed the answers to that quiz. We
started reading aloud and discussing the legend and the use
of the past tense in the story.
December 4, we finished discussing the Mexican legend we
read in class. We discussed the use of the past tense verbs
throughout the story. We will have a major test next Weds.

December 7, we discussed the culture sections in Chapter 2
Lesson A and reviewed the concepts we have been covering in
this chapter. We will have a major test on Thursday this
week.
December 8, we started the test review with a worksheet. We
did two sections in class and discussed how to approach the
other sections. Please finish this worksheet for homework.
December 9, we discussed the rest of the test review sheet.
The writing topics for the test were listed on the board.

December 10, we took a major test over Chapter 2 Lesson A.
Spanish III: December 1, we started review for the test this week with a
worksheet on pronouns. We took a daily quiz over notes on
pronouns and the new uses of se. Homework is to finish the
worksheet with the 4 sections - the other side is extra
practice for those who need it.
December 2, we took a daily quiz over the concepts in this
chapter. We discussed the answer to the first review sheet
for the test. We have the second review sheet to do for
tonight.
December 3, we discussed the answers to the second page of
test review. Major test tomorrow over Ch 2 Lesson A.
December 4, we took a major test over Ch 2 Lesson A.
December 7, we discussed the answers to the test from Friday.
We discussed several points on the review checklist for the
exam. We discussed new uses of reflexive verbs on pp. 76 and
78 in the book. For homework do exercises 11, 12, 15, and 16
on pp. 76-79.
December 8, we discussed the exercises on pp. 76-79 in the
book. We wrote, pronounced, and defined Ch 2 Lesson B1 vocab.
For homework please do exercises 2-4, 6-7 on pp. 32-34 in the
workbook. We will quiz on this vocab on Thurs and Fri, half
each day. Many of these words are review words.
December 9, we discussed the answers for the homework we did
in the workbook last night. We did two writing activities,
exercises 5 and 8, from the same section of the workbook and
shared them in class. Quiz tomorrow over 1-20 Ch 2 LB 1.
December 10, we took a quiz over Ch 2 Lesson B1 1-20. We
wrote Ch 2 Lesson B2 vocab and defined and discussed it. We
will take quizzes on that list Mon (1-27) and Tues (1-28).
Spanish IVAP: December 1, we took quiz 1 of Pasatiempos 2. We discussed the
reading from Lectura on Los Kunas.
December 2, we took quiz 2 of Pasatiempos 2. We read a short
story from Lectura. It will be homework to finish the story
and the exercises after it.
December 3, we took quiz 3 of Pasatiempos 3. We started
reading aloud and discussing the story from Lectura.
December 4, we finished reading and discussing Jacinto
Contreras. We did some listening activities on LoMásTv. Red
and green folders were due and Listening Charts. Don't forget
that yellow and blue folders are due next Friday. There will
not be Listening Charts or vocab quizzes next week.
December 7, we reviewed different aspects of the subjunctive
in Galería.
December 8, we continued working in Galería reviewing the
subjunctive, passive voice, and para/por.
December 9, we discussed common grammar errors being made in
our writing assignments. We watched Christmas commercials in
Spanish.
December 10, we recorded interpersonal oral activities from
Triángulo.
