It is so hard to realize that we will be ending this school year in just
three weeks. It's nice to see the summer come, but so difficult to let go of
your little ones. We still have many things to do, however we will have a
great deal of fun getting them done. Right now we have begun to share our
life cycle research projects. I am very impressed with the students'
information and presentations on their chosen topics. Discussing the life
cycles of some species can be an "eye-opener". We are finding that tadpoles
don't always survive very long. It is not an easy thing for the students to
observe or the teacher. In our shared reading we are coming to the end of
Charlotte's Web, working in our Response Journals, and planning for our
dioramas. Please "hold on" as we sail through the next three weeks.
