My name is Libby Mitchell and I am a native of Georgia. I was born and
raised in the Metro Atlanta area and currently live in West Cobb County with
my husband and son (when he is not at GA Tech - "Go Jackets").
I received my Bachelor of Science Degree and my Master's Degree in Early
Childhood Education from Kennesaw State University. Additionally, I
completed my Specialist Degree in Instructional Technology from the
University of West Georgia.
My teaching experience has been at Ford Elementary in 5th grade and at
Mountain View Elementary in East Cobb where I taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th
grades. I love teaching and I love teaching here at Ford.
In my spare time, when I’m not planning lessons or grading papers, I love to
read (especially out by the pool). Mysteries are my favorite. I also enjoy
traveling with my family.
