It is hard to believe (and yes I do feel old!) this is my 22nd year of
teaching. I come from a family of teachers and there was never any question
that teaching would be my career.
I am a Cobb County native and attended Cobb County Schools all of my life.
I went to elementary school at LaBelle and Bells Ferry, middle school at
J.J. Daniell and graduated from Sprayberry High School. My husband Allen
also went there but we didn't meet until years later. I attended college at
Kennesaw State University back when it was just Kennesaw College. I went to
graduate school at West Georgia University and received my Masters and
Specialists Degrees in Early Childhood Education. My first job in Cobb
County was at Garrison Mill Elementary in 4th grade. I have also taught at
Bryant Elementary and Acworth Elementary in grades 2-5 and in EIP.
I have three busy and wonderful children. Eason is in 6th grade, Mayson is
in 3rd and Semmie is four years old and in Pre-K. We spend a lot of time
at the ballpark for football, baseball and cheerleading! We love to go to
the beach, the movies and be with friends. My husband and I have been
married 14 years and he is in residential home building. We are very
blessed to have our family live locally and we see them as often as possible.
I have been at Frey since we opened the doors! It is my home and I love my
Frey family. I look forward to getting to know your family too!

My mission for my class is that every student feels that they can learn and
grow. Each child will be challenged to work to their potential, strive to go
beyond, and to feel successful. I believe it is important to teach children
how to think on many different levels and to take that skill with them when
they move forward. Every child will come to class and know that they are
important, special, and have something to offer our class. It takes both
school and home to make a difference in a child's education. Let's work
together to give our children the most positive experience!
