Wow! Can you believe we are half way through the year! I want to thank all of you for the opportunity to nuture and teach your child! I love them dearly! Please make sure over the holidays you re-stock on important school supplies. Many do not have scissors, colored pencils, or crayons, paper etc. Conferences will be coming soon and report cards will be distributed then. Those that sent in your request, I will do my best to honor your time and will pass the information along to your other sibling's teachers. Reading: We will start of the New Year with Danny and The Champion of the World by Roald Dahl Writing and Reading: The most important skill this quarter will be "How can I read to Learn? and "How do I write to inform? Yes, research projects!!!! Math: Ok here we go to decimals and fractions! We will resume math mastery when we return as well. Work.. Work.. work... on multiplication and division continuesly to help with these higher level skills. Spelling: They will be doing various activities with the words over a two week period.
