My name is Natalie Wilson, and this is my third year teaching. I am new to
the Frey family this year, and very excited to be here. I grew up in the
area, and attended Cobb County schools throughout my childhood. I went to
Still Elementary, Pine Mountain Middle, and Harrison High. (GO HOYAS!) After
getting married and starting my family, I decided to return to college for my
teaching certificate, which I obtained in 2005 from KSU.
I have a wonderfully supportive husband and two beautiful children, all of
whom I consider a gift and blessing in my life. My husband, Ross and I have
a fourth grader here at Frey. She is 9, and her name is Valerie-Ruth. We
also have a son in GA pre-k. His name is Liam. Last but not least, we
adopted a black lab last Christmas, and then a little Tibetan Terrier this
past Christmas. Their names are Jackson and Holly, respectively. As you can
tell, we have a pretty full house!
I love teaching and working with children, because I believe it gives me a
unique opportunity to help them learn and grow into responsible citizens. I
believe that life always comes full circle, and I hope that if I run into one
of my students 20 years from now, they will still remember me as someone who
unconditionally cared for and supported them. I still have relationships
with several of my former teachers, and I am so grateful for the impact they
have had on my life!
