Harrison High School and Allatoona High School have several camps for
different sports going on this summer that might be available for your
child's age group-You can check their website or call them for information.
Please wait for your child in the car and not on the sidewalk or in the front
lobby at dismissal, if your child is a car rider. This avoids confusion.

We are now using our multipliction facts daily and will soon be dividing.
Your son/daughter should be able to do 100 mixed multiplication facts in five
minutes. Please make sure you are practicing your facts daily, especially
if you are still having trouble with them. I should not see students using
their fingers.
Reading Logs are due the last school day of the month. They will begin the
month of September. Please put your child's name on them and total the hours
read for the month. You also need to initial the log. Directions are
printed at the top of the log. Students can earn prizes depending if they
read enough (30 minutes, five nights a week)each month. Have fun and earn
those prizes!
Just about every Friday we will have a test in Math over the concepts we have
learned that week and concepts from previouse weeks. Please make sure your
child is reviewing all concepts we work on in a week on Thursday night.
Their agenda, class work, and homework for that week should all serve as a
review for the test on Friday.
Spelling Pre-Test are given and the words do come home for you to study each
unit. You and your child should study these words until the final test is
given. We will note in the agenda when new spelling words come home.
Spelling test will begin the week of August 18th.
