Hello.  My name is Carol Nikin and I grew up on Cape Cod in Massachusetts.  
I graduated from Bridgewater State College, located in Bridgewater, 
Massachusetts, in 1984 with a BS in Education.  I started teaching right 
after graduating.   I love teaching and am proud of my twenty-three years I 
have worked to educate children. My Masters of Education, received in 1993, 
is from Notre Dame College in the area of Curriculum and Instruction.  My 
first job was in Auburn, New Hampshire where I taught sixth through eighth 
grade until we relocated to Georgia in 1996.  I have two daughters, Megan 
and Ashley, and a wonderful, supportive husband, Michael.  In my free time I 
love to do scrapbooking, read, and shop with my daughters. Someday, I hope 
to relocate back to New England with my family where I can live close to the 
ocean and sail each day in Cape Cod Bay.

My mission for the class is to become learners for life.
