Through a story, students will make connections between an acute, obtuse, and right angle.  Students will draw the three angles, label each, write a definition using math vocabulary and generate a real world connection to the anagles.
 
Science: EQ:Why are there no polar bears in Georgia?
Students will be able to identify the elments of habitats, as well as features of plants and animals that allow them to thrive in different regions of Georgia.  
 
WritingEQ:How do I write to response to what I read?
Students will demonstrate an understanding of the text, form an opinion and will be asked to retell the story in their own words.
 
Reading: EQ:How do you determine an author's purpose for writing a text?
Students will be able to recogize the author's purpose for given passages.
