Homework will be issued in the form of a weekly packet. It will be
distributed on Fridays, and will be due the following Friday. Packets will
consist of spelling, reading comprehension, math, and some writing. I will
not require a reading log, so any outside of class reading, other than what
is included in the homework packet, is up to you and your child. There will
be no negative consequence for not turning in homework. Instead, all who do
return completed homework by the due date will be able to participate in show-
n-tell after the class meeting on Friday. Please take time to review your
child's work, and correct any missed problems with them. Homework is
intended to give extra practice on skills we are working on in class, but
more important, for you to see where your child is performing in critical
areas. If you ever have concerns or questions about assignments, please feel
free to email me or jot me a little note. I am always here to help!
