CONGRATULATIONS to our students who met the criteria for "Perfect Attendance" during the 2nd 9 weeks' grading period! A student must be in attendance everyday and have no more than 1 late arrival to school or early checkout. Three cheers for Nathan Baggott, Franklin Price, Sara Steinhauser, and Kylie Trogdon!
Also, CONGRATULATIONS to our students receiving the "Character Education Award"! These students possess the character traits of a good citizen in our classroom and at GBE. The students being awarded this grading period are Jared Bellamy, Franklin Price, Ella Perez, Peyton Sealey, Abi Sukowatey, Juan Lucas Ramos, Amanda Worthy, and Hayley Zills. Way to go boys and girls! Let's make this a goal for all to work toward!
Valentine's Day plans are in the works. We are going to ask that each child decorate a shoe box at home to collect his/her Valentine's Day cards in and bring it to school by Monday, Feb. 8th. We will have a special snack on Friday, Feb. 12th to celebrate Valentine's Day. Each child should plan to make a card for every member of the class. Parents are more than welcome to include a small treat with each card. We are looking forward to celebrating a day of "FRIENDSHIP".
