I love being a primary teacher! I have taught kindergarten, first, and second
grades. My goal is to develop a love of learning in all students. When we
learn how to learn, and how to enjoy it, we become lifelong learners.
I, too, am a lifelong learner. I have a B.S. in Early Childhood Education,
and an M.S.Ed. in Education with a Focus on Elementary Reading and Literacy.
I recently added a Reading Endorsement, a Gifted Endorsement, an an Ed.S. in
Elementary Education to my learning list. I can't wait to see what I'll learn
next!
The 2009-2010 year will be my 18th year of teaching! I spent my first 9 years
teaching in Charlotte, NC. The past 8 years were spent here at Greenbrier. My
classroom is my home away from home!
