April BE ACTIVE IN YOUR LEARNING!

we are concentrating on reading comprehension with an emphasis on longer
reading passages and strategies to improve comprehension.

Read and review strategies in units 29 and 30 of your Writing and Grammar
handbook at home to improve scores on the READING/ELA section of the CRCT

Have a positive attitude when you complete the TEST READY activities.
Pretend that these reading passages are the most interesting subjects to
read about and you may find that as you fake your interest, you take in more
information so you can answer more of the questions correctly and gain more
confidence! It's worth a try.
