-Online Textbook - offers great lesson tutorials as well as CRCT practice
-Tutoring - I offer tutoring every Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon from
2:40 - 3:15
-Practice Games for Reinforcement - look under the link section on my website
-CRCT Review Online - we will be starting the onlince CRCT review next
month. Your child should come home with a uswername and
password to access this.
So far this year, we have covered the following topics and your child should
be practicing with these as often as possible:
-Order of Operations
-Exponents
-Patterns
-Number Properties
-Integer Operations (addition,subtraction, multiplication, and division)
-Variables and Algebraic Expressions
-Simplifying Algebraic Expressions: distributive property and combining like
terms
-Translating words into math
-Solving Basic One-Step Equations
-Solving One-Step Equations with Fractions, Decimals, and Integers
-Solving Two-Step Eqations
-Solving Two-Step Equations with Fractions, Decimals, and Integers.
