Notebook Organization Info
· WORK STANDARDS, GUIDELINES, & NOTEBOOK ORGANIZATIONAL SHEETS – Students are expected to keep these sheets in the front of their notebook for the entire school year in page or sheet protectors.
This is the area where all notes, class work, and homework should be kept. Class work and homework for each lesson should follow the notes on that particular lesson. All of this work should be labeled with the lesson title or number, page numbers, problem numbers, and date. Remember that all work is to be shown, unless otherwise specified. Papers without labeling will not receive credit.
**Always check with someone about getting the notes for any days that you are absent. You are responsible for all notes given in class.
This is the area where you will complete each Problem of the Week and daily reinforcers. The POW’s will be found in the red notebooks under your desk. You must write the complete problem and show the work done to formulate the answer, unless otherwise specified. The daily reinforcers will be on the board. You are to copy the problems and show all of your work. If you are absent, you must make up all work that you missed. POW’s will be given on Mondays and due on the following Thursday. Students will complete the POW as part of Wednesday night’s homework. They will be taken up on Thursday and graded for completion, correctness, and appropriate work.
**You are responsible for getting the POW and Daily Reinforcers if you are absent.
This is the area where all CRCT practice questions will be kept. The questions can be found in the red notebook under your desk and must be copied completely and all work must be shown. CRCT questions will be completed each Friday and will be checked once a nine weeks.
**You are responsible for getting the CRCT questions if you are absent.
This is the area where students will keep each graded assignment.
