About The Teacher

This is my sixth year teaching and what better place to be than at 
Greenbrier Middle School. I graduated from Augusta State University 
with a Bachelor’s Degree in Middle Grades Education in 2003 and a Master's 
Degree in Middle Grades Education in 2007. I graduated from Lincoln Memorial 
University in Tennessee in July 2008 with a Specialist Degree in Education 
Leadership. My two concentrations are Mathematics and Social Studies. I am 
married to a United States Soldier who has recently returned from a tour in 
Iraq. We have three beautiful children, ages 10, 3 and 3 months. 

I strongly believe that intelligence and character should be the goal of 
true education. In addition, I believe that children should learn how to 
think intensively and critically. By doing this, children will have ability 
to possess true character and leadership.
