I am married to my husband, Vaun. We have been married for four years. We
do not have any children, but we do have a sweet pit-bull named Luke. (He
is like a child to us.)
This is my fourth year at GMS. I taught 7th grade social studies my first
year as a teacher. I taught 6th grade math and science for the last two
years. This year I look forward to teaching one subject - math. I love
teaching 6th grade!
I am also the track and field coach, which I love!
I graduated from North Georgia College and State University in Dahlonega,
Georgia in Middle Grades Education in 2005. I gradutated with my Master's
Degree in Middle Grades Education from Augusta State University in 2007. I
just completed my Specialist's Degree in Educational Leadership over the
summer (2008). I am currently working on obtaining my gifted certification
through Columbia County.
Math-
I would like all students to look at math in a positive aspect by becoming
actively involved in class every day. I hope to make math interactive and
engaging to all students.
