| The only extra credit that students will receive in my class is for going
above and beyond to study their words. For each unit, students may complete
TWO of the following and receive an extra classwork grade worth 50 points.
It only helps them if they spell each word correctly and clearly. I do
grade the assignment for accuracy. Each set of activities is due BY the
quiz day for that unit. They are to turn it into their "box". I will not
ask for them.
1. Write each word 3 times each.
2. Separate each word into syllables - use the dictionary! This must be
done correctly to get credit.
3. List the words in alphabetical order.
4. Write each word and its definition - the definition as it relates to
your core classes.
5. Categorize the words by their part of speech.
